China slams US over textile quota cut

 

China has criticized a decision by the United States to cut its import quotas for Chinese. Textiles in a dispute over allegations Chinese companies have been making illegal shipments through third countries. The Chinese Trade Ministrysaid the decision to cut the quotas was a wanton violation of trade agreements between the two countries. A ministry spokesman said the United States had not provided any clear evidence of wrongdoing on the part of Chinese companies.
